Too much overtime

I've been working way too much overtime of late, which incidentally, I would define as any overtime at all. Makes for a tired mom and no posting. Went to a party of sorts Saturday night in honor of John's 43rd birthday - he's a whooping 18 days older than I am.... he's OLD! ;) The nice people who hosted the affair had a pool, which Ave spent most of her time in:

Still making pottery, with varying success. Most of July was spent 'fixing' my hand positions. This is a orchid pot I made prior to the hand debacle. Darned thing shrank more than I anticipated, so this orchid will have to get a new home next repotting. I've also brought home 2 bowls large enough to serve side dishes in! I've even used them - mashed potatoes in one, corn in the other. It is so cool to use pots I made!
