Ave volunteering to demonstrate lung capacity. This was in the middle of a sheep's lung dissection. Ave sat through the whole thing, totally interested. Max bailed out about a third of the way through - he got a little queasy. I was standing in a line (more on that in a moment).
Max watching solar flares. This globe has in internal projection system and rotates through all the planets. The earth version showed airplane traffic around the globe - pretty busy planet.

We also waited a LONG time in line to have photos of ourselves subjected to age progression. Above, Max at 70 and below, Ave at 70.
Why yes, I did do the age progression on my photo. Why do you ask? Well, no, I'm not going to share it. It was very unattractive. Very.
We also visited the biology lab, where we tried one of CSI's favorite tests - scraping the inside of the mouth to get epithelials. The ones under the microscope and on the screen are mine.
There were 2 infrared heat exhibits right next to each other. One had a really cold thing that you could put your hand on, and next door was a camera that looked at your body. Ave had her hand on the cold thing for a long time then came and looked at her whole body's heat image. The red apple shape is her face, nice and toasty warm, and her dark blue hand is all cold.
We also visited the Gems and Minerals display. No photos, but we sure saw a lot of really cool / beautiful rocks.
